Join Student Health and Well-Being to raise awareness of the impact of eating disorders across individuals as part of Eating Disorder Awareness Week. This week will include exciting activities meant to create discussion about our relationships with food and our bodies.
Myth Busters: Nutrition Edition
11am–1pm, Library Walk
Join CAPS and HPS at our tables on library walk to learn more about common nutrition myths, and learn more about on-campus services for those struggling with their body image and eating!

Intuitive Eating Workshop
5–6pm, Red Shoe Room
Join our dietitians as they teach skills related to intuitive eating. This will be a practice in leaving diet culture behind and learning how to honor your body’s needs. There is limited seating at this event, so arrive early as it will be first come first serve! Raffle for a copy of the Intuitive Eating Workbook!
Self-Compassion Crafting
12:30–2pm, Women’s Center
Join CAPS and the Women’s Center in exploring what it means to treat yourself (and your body!) with kindness. Activities will bracelet making and body liberation sticker giveaways.
Special Edition – Restorative Movement
3–4pm, RIMAC Room 2
Join CAPS and the Rec Center in a special edition of Restorative Movement, where we’ll explore movement that supports your body feeling good. Raffle for a free yoga mat, and giveaways for self-care kits!
If you find yourself struggling with your body image, know that we have support on campus. The SHW Eating Disorders Program is here to help. We also have a weekly RISE Workshop (Restorative Movement) to create a space to build a positive relationship with movement, and a Community Connections hour for students to support each other in their health journey from eating disorders.
