Through UC San Diego Health, you have access to San Diego’s top-ranked health system, where leading medical experts collaborate with highly skilled care teams, such as Student Health and Well-Being and the Department of Psychiatry within UC San Diego’s School of Medicine, to leverage the latest advances in medical science and technology. Every aspect of care is delivered in a setting intentionally designed to support the student health experience.
The Student Health and Well-Being cluster takes a holistic approach to well-being by offering high-quality medical care at Student Health Services, proactive health education through Health Promotion Services and compassionate mental health support at Counseling and Psychological Services.
Opening on July 14, 2026, in the heart of campus, the Triton Health and Wellness Building brings everything together in one location, making it easier to prioritize your health. Operations and services will be available at the new location starting 7/14, and grand openings for other buildings in the Triton Center will be held throughout the fall 2026.

What’s Changing in Summer 2026?
On July 14, Student Health Services, Health Promotion Services and Counseling and Psychological Services Central will transition from their current locations into the new Triton Health and Wellness Building in the Triton Center. As the move approaches, you may notice signage in existing spaces, receive reminders, or see updates in MyStudentChart regarding changes to upcoming appointments. Please stay informed about building closures, adjusted hours of operation, and any updates to your scheduled visits during this transition period.
Locating the Triton Health and Wellness Building
Starting on July 14, Student Health and Well-Being services will be available at the new Triton Health and Wellness Building in the new Triton Center, just east of Center Hall on Gilman Drive and south of Yogurt World.

Parking Instructions: Paid parking is available in the Triton Parking Structure at 3170 Triton Driveway. Park in any Patient Priority Parking space. Discounted patient parking is available for a flat fee of $5 for up to two hours. After parking, use the link included with your appointment reminder or QR code posted at your parking space to pay from your mobile device.

Starting on July 15, Counseling and Psychological Services will be available at the new Triton Health and Wellness Building in the new Triton Center, right at the heart of the campus.

Additional Services for UC San Diego Health Patients and Students
In addition to all the SHW services, the Triton Health and Wellness building will house services such as UC San Diego Health Primary Care, Occupational Health and Environmental Medicine and the School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry, making them more broadly accessible to students, faculty, staff, alumni and non-affiliates.
